Axil Scientific’s Commitment During the COVID-19 Outbreak
As the COVID-19 continues to impact people around the world with increasing risks and complexities, Axil Scientific is committed in doing all that we can to support our customers throughout the course of pandemic and to provide continuity of services at all times.
Measures in Limiting the Spread of Disease
We are closely monitoring the ongoing COVID-19 situation and following guidelines from the Singapore Government and other relevant authorities. We have further stepped up measures to limit the risk of exposure and spread of COVID-19. All of our employees have been made aware of the best practices of sanitization and protocol for avoiding the spread or contraction of disease.
Business continuity plan has been put in place to maintain continuity of critical functions such as manufacturing and delivering of products and services while practicing social distancing and ensuring the safety of our team.
Supporting our Customers and Communities
While the situation continues to be fluid and ever-changing, possible extension to the stipulated lead time may be expected in some cases. Rest assured, we will do our utmost best to fulfil orders and deliveries with minimal disruptions and delays.
Specifically for our DNA sequencing customers, you may experience a delay in the release of sequencing results by an additional day. However, samples that are related to COVID-19 will be prioritized.

We Are Now ISO 13485:2016 and ISO 45001:2018 Certified!
We are proud to announce that we have been awarded ISO 13485:2016 and ISO 45001:2018 certifications from SOCOTEC Certification International. These certifications indicate that our quality management system maintains stringent international standards for medical devices, including in vitro diagnostic assays.
To be certified ISO 13485 and ISO 45001, our materials, processes, products and services underwent rigorous and independent testing for safety, product performance or reliability. Specifically, the scope of the certifications covers:
- Manufacturing and distribution of buffers and molecular diagnostic reagents for the use in in vitro diagnostic medical devices
- Provision of standard and customised services for:
- DNA Sanger Sequencing
- Fragment Analysis
- Next-Generation Sequencing and
- Other molecular biology services for in vitro diagnostic medical devices
- Sales, distribution, machine commissioning/maintenance and manufacturing of 1st BASE's products including:

Axil Scientific Office Relocation & Expansion
We are pleased to announce the relocation of Axil Scientific’s office and laboratories to support the growth and expansion of our businesses!
Our main telephone and email address will remain the same.
The Move to Accommodate Accelerated Growth
The previous office and laboratory are located in 2 separate levels within the same building with an estimated overall space of 582sqm.
Our new office and laboratory will span across 1300sqm which makes it 2 times larger than before and will house all office and laboratory employees at the same level.
This move enables us to modernize our facilities and help us carry our work more efficiently and effectively.
Healthier and Better Workplace for Employees
Axil Scientific recognises the importance of establishing positive workspaces and environment to enhance wellness, health and general wellbeing of our employees.
We will continue to pioneer towards more open, flexible workspaces where employees are encouraged to interact and share their collective wisdom and experiences with each other at any time of the day. Office and laboratory are now located within the same space at the same level to foster better communication and efficiency within the company. Comfortable spaces are available to allow employees to take their well-deserved break and recharge before they return to their work.
